JapaThai Jobs Privacy Policy

HR Japan (“we”) have established our privacy policy (“Policy”) concerning the handling of personal information for providing services through “JapaThai Jobs” (“Services”) as follows:

1. Basic policy
We shall recognize the importance of personal information and our social responsibility to protect personal information, and properly collect, use, and manage all personal information in compliance with the personal information laws. This Policy shall not apply to external sites linked with the Services, and sites and services provided by third parties, and we shall not assume any obligations and responsibilities to the same.

2. Collection of personal information
We collect the following personal information through the Services; (1) Information by which a specific individual can be identified, including but not limited to name, date of birth, address, phone number, email address, educational background, work experience, photo, and qualifications of individuals who agree with the user terms and conditions, and register and use the Services (“Users”), (2) Organizational information and any other information posted at the service website of companies, local authorities, or other organizations which agree with the client terms and conditions, and apply to use the the Services (“Clients”), and (3) Information received automatically from the browser for Users and Customers to use the Services, including but not limited to the IP address and cookie information.

3. Purpose of use
We shall take security measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, damage, alternation, leakage, and other hazards, and we shall manage personal information in a safe and proper manner, and use the same solely for, (1) Provision and operation of the Services, (2) Use by the Users and Clients of the Services, (3) Improvement, analysis, or other enhancement of the Services, (4) Notice of service expansion or promotion campaigns through DM or email magazine, or (5) Other purposes necessary for The correct management and operation of the Services.

4. Safety management
When it is no longer required to retain the data of the Users or Clients in order to maintain the standard of the Services, we shall delete such data without delay. This shall be also the case upon request by the Users or Clients, or expiry of the service period. We are committed to proper and strict safety management, but we shall not be liable for any loss, deletion, alternation, or leakage of data.

5. Provision of personal information to a third party
We shall never provide personal information provided by the Users or Clients to a third party, unless, (1) We have obtained prior consent from the applicable User or Client, (2) We employ a subcontractor to the necessary extent to achieve the purpose of use, (3) It is required to protect human life, health, or property, and it is difficult to obtain prior consent from the principal, and (4) It is by order of public or judicial authorities, or according to the law.

6. Use of Cookies
When Users or Clients use the Services, we may collect cookies and other access information, and provide the same to a third party. In such case, we shall not be liable for any resulting disadvantage or damage to the Users or Clients.

7. Amendment to the Policy
We may amend this Policy without consent of the Users and Clients, if it is required to maintain proper provision of the Services. The Users and Clients shall be deemed to agree with any amendment to the Policy, once it is confirmed. The Users and Clients who do not agree with such amendment may terminate use of the Services, but shall not be entitled to a refund of the service fees previously paid. Regarding any amendment to the Policy, we shall make efforts to notify the Users and Clients thereof as soon as possible.
